Art Deco perpetual calendar by Jakob Maul, made in Germany in the 1920s or 1930s
A highly decorative collector’s item, an eye-catcher for any desk.
The calendar is mounted on a black Belgian marble base, with a chrome-plated steel front.
It displays the day of the week, the date, and the month.
The day is set by turning a knob on the back, and the date is set manually by pressing the buttons on the left and right, while the month is displayed on small cards inserted into the lower slot.
The calendar contains a complete set of original celluloid monthly cards (text on both sides).
